Adraganth gum is a natural polysaccharide derived from the resin of a tree found in Asian reasons.
Used as a food additive, it is a compound with thickening, emulsifying and natural stabilizing function.
Gum tragacanth is present as an additive in various foods such as cake decorations, sliced cheese, etc.
There are no side effects at the doses normally used, but the consumption at high concentrations causes flatulence, diarrhea and bloating (due to fermentation by the intestinal microflora), allergies and skin reactions.
